CONTAMINATION LAB 

The Contamination Lab Verona (CLab Verona) is an experiential course with modules on innovation and enterprise culture that offers the opportunity to work in teams with students from all areas to solve challenges set by companies and organisations.  

Upon completion of a CLab, students will be entitled to receive 6 CFU (D- or F-type credits).

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be admitted to any teaching activities, including those of your choice, you must be enrolled in the academic year in which the activities in question are offered. Students who are about to graduate in the December and April sessions are therefore advised NOT to undertake extracurricular activities in the new academic year in which they are not enrolled, as these graduation sessions are valid for students enrolled in the previous academic year. Therefore, students who undertake an activity in an academic year in which they are not enrolled will not be granted CFU credits.

Learning objectives

The seminar offers 4 in-depth talks on the themes, concepts, theories and methods studied in the framework of the teaching of Political Science and Strategic Studies (M. Prearo).
Scientific research articles from the field of political science on various contemporary problems such as: processes of autocratization; forms of political leadership in the age of mediatized politics; reforms of the electoral system in Italy, etc. will be presented and discussed.

Program

To and students in the 2nd year of the CdS in Strategic Studies for Security and International Policy will be proposed to hand in a commentary of one of the articles studied as an exercise for the Political Science and Strategic Studies exam.
To and other students will be proposed to write a paper of about 3,000 characters on one of the topics studied.

Learning assessment procedures

To and students who ensure attendance to at least 3 of the 4 meetings and deliver the assigned paper will be awarded 2 CFU (D).
