Learning objectives
Learn the fundamental notions on the functioning of the human body as organs and systems by integrating and complementing the already acquired knowledge of physics, chemistry, biochemistry, anatomy and biology. • Acquire a critical approach to knowledge deriving from the application of the scientific method, in particular applied to the analysis of physiological responses. • Identify the functional purpose of the organs and systems by understanding their role in maintaining the general homeostasis of the human organism. • Acquire the fundamental physiological basis of human nutrition.
Examination methodsWritten exam, 30 multiple choice questions with 5 possible answers and only one correct. The exam will be aimed at ascertaining the student's knowledge of the contents of the course.
Prerequisites and basic notions
To take the Physiology exam, students must have passed the Cell Biology and Human Anatomy exams
