Learning objectives
Learning Outcomes: Professional laboratories represent opportunities for interactive and simulated teaching aimed at facilitating the application of clinical-care, educational, advanced assessment and research methodologies referring to specific nursing and midwifery health care contexts and problems. They prepare students for the internship experience and to develop methodologies for reflection and reworking of the experience. These workshops are conducted in small groups, at times previously defined, and led by a supervising faculty member.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Prerequisites: content from three-year university education and covered in modules related to the professional laboratories module.

SKILL
Assessment: objective examination, cardiac-respiratory auscultation, neurological, abdominal, vascular;
Lead teams in developing information materials including with digital systems e.g., pictograms, pillcards;
Develop reports on interventions and results/outcomes achieved in terms of change and health to be disseminated to institution and citizen level;
Conduct interviews, meetings and teamworking aimed at change (e.g., motivational interviews);
Manage difficult interviews;
Develop change projects;
Participate and collaborate in the production of guidelines, protocols.
