By applying the skills acquired, the student must be able to evaluate the use of herbal medicines in the treatment of human pathologies.

Learning assessment procedures

The student at the end of the course will have acquired knowledge, especially of an applied nature, on products of plant origin and will be able to evaluate the nature and quality of the raw materials and products on the market, to identify the problems connected to their use, and therefore to evaluate the risk/benefit. This will come assessed through an oral exam held with the course teacher.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The assessment of the student's preparation will be based on ascertaining:
1. understanding of the topics covered;
2. the orientation ability of the student, the property of expression and expository clarity;
3. the ability to approach a specific problem critically and informedly.
Specifically, the student will have to demonstrate knowledge not only of the peculiar characteristics of products of plant origin, but also of having acquired the functional tools for assessing quality, making critical choices and rational advice. Vote out of 30 in the oral exam.
