Learning objectives

The course, using special teaching methods and simulated operating techniques, aims to develop in students the processes of observation and internalization of traditional Radiology practice fundamental skills, helping them to integrate into professional practice the theoretical principles learned in the classroom.

Prerequisites and basic notions

elements of the radiological system basic knowledge of abdominal anatomy and visceral structures abdominal radiological techniques relational aspects with the patient elements of radiation protection handling of loads

Program

The laboratory is aimed at acquiring gestural skills in the context of projective radiology from the practical use of the RIS/PACS to the reception and discharge of the patient. Through the use of videos, active teaching and simulations in the field (UO of Radiodiagnostics) of the main techniques of osteoarticular, thoracic and abdominal radiology in white.

Didactic methods

Field simulations: -demonstration of the radiological procedure/technique (real or video, without explanation) -possibility to repeat the procedure commenting on the various steps/sequence conducted -execution of the procedure, students divided into groups/pairs (role of observers for non-active students) feedback: -after each action or at the end -from the teacher, among peers, by the actor simulating the patient debriefing: -post-simulation reflection -welcoming and non-evaluative climate -collect the student's reactions and discuss the knowledge acquired

Learning assessment procedures

Verification of the proactive approach and regular attendance (100%) of the student with any recovery of absences and gaps in individual skills.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
