Infectious risk The infectious chain: Infectious agent or causal agent, Reservoir and source of infection, Routes of elimination, Modes of transmission and routes of penetration, Susceptibility of the host Standard prevention measures Hand hygiene: a crucial action for the prevention of infections Barrier systems Hand protection: gloves Eye and face protection Airway protection Body protection: protective gown Respiratory hygiene measures - cough "etiquette" Management of medical waste Sanitization and disinfection of surfaces Prevention and control measures based on the mode of transmission Notes on contact measures, droplet transmission, airborne transmission Movement limitations and movement deficits: grips, positioning and ergonomic principles

Learning assessment procedures

The modality is written and integrated with the teachers of the course. There are approximately 15 multiple choice questions with a single correct answer, approximately 8 questions evaluate the cognitive level of knowledge and approximately 7 of applied knowledge (MCQ Case)

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The grade is in 30 and it is necessary to reach a minimum acceptable level (LAP of 18/30). The knowledge MCQs have a score of 1 while those of applied knowledge will have a score of 2-3) Active and constructive participation in class and punctuality also contribute to the evaluation
