UNDERSTAND written text in English, with particular interest in scientific articles
BE ABLE TO EXPRESS themselves in English in a simple, clear and linear manner using proper lexicon to the content of the scientific information
KNOWING AND REMEMBER the main rules of English grammar
ACQUIRE the proper lexicon of the medical-scientific domain
Learning assessment procedures
Semi-structured written test (completion of statements, multiple-choice questions, text comprehension, production of short papers). In the case of achievement or possession of valid, worldwide English language proficiency certificates (Cambridge PET or higher, IELTS, TOEIC), the examination will be validated without the need to take the practical test. Grade approved/not approved
Evaluation criteria
Ability to understand written material critically, ability to express oneself clearly and linearly conveying information, create a short written scientific text consistent with the rules of English grammar. Lexical competence and knowledge of vocabulary appropriate to the scientific field
