Learning objectives
The purpose of this course is to provide students with adequate knowledge to understand the functioning and management of supply chain from a sustainability perspective and with a particular attention to the circularity practices which allow the transition from a linear to a circular economy.
By the end of the class, the student should demonstrate the ability to understand, develop and organize circular business practices related to clients, suppliers, production flows, product development and logistics. Additionally, they should possess knowledge and comprehension of tools and techniques to manage activities’ processes and flows towards circularity, including the discussion of case studies and the application of operational tools.

Bibliography
Didactic methods
The teaching includes different teaching methods (discussions, role playing, mini case studies) and is supported by a Moodle platform. The material to be prepared consists of all the material present in the e-learning area as well as the reference book.
Learning assessment procedures
The assessment for this course includes both written and oral components. The written exam entails answering two theoretical questions and solving a business case, in which students are required to provide reasoned solutions to the presented business scenario. The oral exam entails the presentation of a mini-case study about the course material and it is mandatory.
Evaluation criteria
The evaluation for this course will consider the following criteria. Competence in the use of technical vocabulary, ability to identify logical and sustainable problem-solving approaches to identify and propose logical and sustainable solutions, capability to select management and operational tools and evaluate their application for circular business practices along the supply chain.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final evaluation will be given on a scale of 30 and will take into account both the written exam (evaluated at 80% of the total grade) and the oral exam (evaluated at 20% of the total grade).
