Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the theoretical aspects of databases and the languages for managing and querying data, as well as the conceptual models, methodologies, and techniques for designing a database from its requirements. At the end of the course, the student will be able to design and implement databases of medium complexity and develop applications that use them. There will be also some principles about the big data, and how to collect and manage them.
