Learning objectives

By the end of the course, PhD students will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of protein–ligand and protein–protein interactions, and assess the use of computational techniques in drug discovery approaches.
- Acquire knowledge of advanced principles and applications of targeted protein degradation (TPD), with a specific focus on PROTACs and related molecules.
- Integrate multidisciplinary approaches (chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics) for the development of innovative drug discovery strategies.

Prerequisites and basic notions

Basic knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and bioinformatics.

Didactic methods

Topics are covered by in-class lectures .
