2. Non è richiesta l'iscrizione ai corsi, a meno che non sia esplicitamente indicato; si prega di consultare le informazioni sul corso per verificare se l'iscrizione è richiesta o meno. Quando l'iscrizione è effettivamente richiesta, non verrà inviata alcuna e-mail di conferma dopo la registrazione. Si prega di non inviare richieste di conferma: se sono state inserite le informazioni richieste, l'iscrizione è andata a buon fine.

Prerequisites and basic notions
A basic knowledge of descriptive statistics is recommended
Program
The course aims to provide students with introductory knowledge of epidemiological methodology. The main sources of measurement error and their consequences in scientific research will be discussed. An overview of observational and experimental study designs will be provided, and inference techniques and the interpretation of statistical significance will be illustrated.
Didactic methods
The course is structured around lectures, taught in blended mode (both in the classroom and via Zoom), for a total of 12 hours. The course materials are available to students on the course's e-learning website (Moodle platform). Attendance is mandatory.
