Admission requirements

Title required for matriculation

Degree or three-year university diploma or other qualification acquired in Italy or abroad and recognised as suitable, obtained or to be obtained by the last session of the academic year 2025/2026.


Admission requirements

It is necessary to have specific curricular requirements and adequate personal preparation, in the absence of which enrolment is not possible.


Curricular requirements

1. Admission to the master's degree course requires a degree in class L-8 Information Engineering

2. students may be admitted if they hold a three-year university degree or diploma or other qualification acquired in Italy or abroad and recognised as suitable with the following minimum curricular requirements
at least 60 CFUs obtained in the following SSDs: MAT/02, MAT/03, MAT/05, MAT/06, MAT/07, MAT/08, MAT/09, SECS-S/02, CHIM/03, CHIM/07, FIS/01, FIS/03, FIS/07, ING-INF/01, ING-INF/03, ING-INF/04, ING-INF/05, ING-INF/06, ING-IND/35, INF/01, of which at least 24 obtained in the following SSDs: ING-INF/05, INF/01 

An English language certification of level B2 is required. 

The B2 English language requirement is automatically considered to have been met if

  • you are in possession of a valid and equivalent certification among those indicated on the page of our University Language Centre CLA link Equipollenze CLA UNIVR
  • the passing of ENGLISH LANGUAGE B2 is indicated on your degree certificate (not limited to individual skills)

For other certification or documentation of ENGLISH LANGUAGE B2 FULL it will be a special Commission to assess eligibility when verifying the attachment in the ‘Requirements Evaluation Procedure’ application.

 


Personal preparation

An additional assessment of the skills acquired is envisaged in the following cases

  • students with a degree mark of less than 88/110
  • students who have obtained their degree more than 10 years prior to the application date.

The assessment consists of an analysis of the curriculum (subjects taken and relative grade) followed by an interview if necessary.
