How to enrol
Admission requirements
Title required for matriculation
Three-year university degree or diploma, or other qualification obtained abroad and recognised as equivalent, already obtained or to be obtained by 31 December 2026.
If the qualification was obtained more than 10 years ago, the candidate will be admitted conditionally and will only be able to complete enrolment after demonstrating adequate preparation, to be verified by a special commission.
If the qualification is to be obtained, enrolment is admitted conditionally, however, in this case, it should be noted that:
- enrolment can only be finalised if the qualification is obtained no later than 31/12/2026;
- by the course enrolment date, all compulsory exams in the candidate's study plan that give rise to a mark out of 30 must have been completed.
Admission requirements
Specific curricular requirements and adequate personal preparation are necessary; without these, enrolment is not possible.
Curricular requirements
English
Knowledge of English at a level of at least B2 is required.
The following minimum curricular requirements are required:
- from SECS-S/01 to 06; from MAT/01 to 09: 12 CFU (2)
- from SECS-P/01 to SECS-P/13; from SECS-S/01 to SECS-S/06; INF/01; from IUS/01 to IUS/17 and IUS/21; from MAT/01 to MAT/09; from FIS/01 to FIS/08; from ING-INF/01 to ING-INF/07; from ING-IND/03 to ING-IND/20 or from ING-IND/23 to ING-IND/27 or from ING-IND/31 to ING-IND/35 or from SPS/01 to SPS/14: 48 CFU (5)
With regard to the minimum curriculum requirements, a tolerance of up to 10% is allowed for one or more groups, provided that the minimum of 60 CFU in total is met.
All UniVR graduates in economics courses have a career path that meets these requirements: therefore, no preliminary verification is necessary for them.
Personal preparation
Those who, in the three-year degree programme required for admission, have a weighted average of 22/30 or higher in the compulsory exams that give rise to a mark out of 30 are considered eligible.
Honours and assessments for exams taken outside the three-year degree programme (so-called single courses) are not included in the average, even if these exams are valid for the purposes of assessing the requirements.
In the case of a lower average, enrolment is only permitted after passing an interview conducted by a specially appointed teaching committee. The date of the interview will be communicated in a subsequent notice. Interview topics and related bibliographic suggestions are available in the 'how to enrol' section.
Methods and dates of verification
- Those who meet all the above requirements do not need to undergo any further verification.
- Those who obtained their degree more than 10 years ago will be admitted conditionally and will only be able to complete their enrolment after demonstrating adequate preparation, to be verified by a special committee.
- Those who do not meet the personal preparation requirements (average below 22/30) must pass an interview conducted by a specially appointed teaching committee. The date of the interview will be communicated in a subsequent notice. Interview topics and related bibliographic suggestions are available in the "how to enrol" section.
Please note! Students with qualifications obtained abroad should NOT enrol in the assessment procedure. Instead, they should contact the International Student Desk (admissions@ateneo.univr.it).
The substitute declaration form that graduates/undergraduates from other universities must complete and attach is available in the "how to enrol" section.
Please note that a special tutoring service will be available for the entire duration of the procedure.
