Program

A prerequisite for Module A is a basic understanding of management principles. The purpose of the module is to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of logistics, supply chain, and risk management to support organizations in the efficient and effective management of their processes and to address the challenges of resilience, business continuity, and sustainability faced by public and private organizations. Program: - Introduction to Supply Chain Management and Risk Management - Introduction to risk management in public and private organizations - Definition of risk and Project Risk Management (PRM) - Introduction to ISO 31000 - Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM): o Definitions o The key processes of logistics and supply chain management - Tools and techniques for managing Logistics and Supply Chain Management in public and private organizations: Business SCM and Humanitarian SCM: o Managing complexity in the Supply Chain o Agile Logistics vs. Lean Logistics: applications to Humanitarian Logistics o Key Performance Indicators for Supply Chain Management: Performance Measurement System (PSM) o Customer relationship management: the Net Promoter System (NPS)

Didactic methods

In accordance with Edunext's Blended Intensive teaching model, the module is organized with 50% online teaching, delivered using advanced technological tools and supported by instructional designers, to combine in-person and digital learning in an innovative and high-quality way. Lectures and company testimonials are thus integrated with business cases and interactive group work. The activities delivered as e-tivities take the form of a short essay on a course topic, to be completed and submitted before the exam.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam consists of a written test consisting of three open-ended questions. The final grade will take into account the results of the written test and the quality of the individual essay.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Verification of learning of key concepts, definitions, and the ability to conduct a critical analysis of the topics covered in the exam.
