Learning objectives

The course is included in the learning area on Innovation and management of the Public Administration. The course, which requires the basic knowledge of the general part of criminal law, analyses the criminal offences against Public Administration. Students will study the technical interpretation and implementation of the criminal offences by the national and European Courts, and by the ECHR.
By the end of the course students will receive the theoretical and pratical knowledge in order to understand and analyse the criminal offences against public administration committed by public agents and private persons, developing the capacity in using the specific technical language and the most appropriate legal arguments.
Students will acquire problem solving competences in the professional contexts, also to prevent litigations or judicial cases, and will be able to verify and analyse the pratical effects of the theoretical skills in written and oral form, also working in groups based on Problem Based Solving approach, developing the capacity in using the most appropriate legal arguments and a reflective and autonomous views.
The learning and teaching method is oriented to continuous and constant learning and updating of the knowledge acquired.
