Learning objectives

The aim of the course is the acquisition of knowledge and skills aimed at drafting papers in Italian.

Prerequisites and basic notions

None.

Program

The workshop aims to foster the acquisition of specific skills related to writing papers in Italian. Special attention will be paid to certain text types, such as summaries and academic essays; students will be taught the skills necessary for writing their dissertations. The relationship between language and new technologies will also be addressed.

Didactic methods

Lectures and seminars will be held. Various examples of different text types will be discussed and analyzed. The Moodle platform will be used to provide students with work and study materials.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam will consist of a written test: students will be required to submit a paper. This paper must be submitted to the instructor no later than the deadline indicated by the instructor. The exam day will be reserved for recording the exam results only.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The exam is designed to assess knowledge of the formal, structural, and expressive characteristics of the various text types analyzed. Acquired skills, language skills, coherence and cohesion, and grammatical accuracy of the texts will also be assessed. Evaluation method: pass/fail. The exam procedures will be the same for both attending and non-attending students.
