Learning objectives
During the course the analyses of specific topics and critical approaches related to Russian literature will be carried out. At the end of the course students will be able to: 1) gain the necessary critical knowledge to understand the literary issues focused on during the course and in particular referring to narrative and poetical forms and genres (LM37), as well as to history of relations between Russian literature and the publishing world (LM19); 2) carry out a deep and coherent textual and comparative analysis using the acquired knowledge; 3) express autonomous and complex opinions about specific moments in Russian literary history and its methodological issues.

Women's voices in contemporary Russian and post-Soviet literature.

Non-attending students are required to agree with the lecturer to read three critical essays related to the course topic.
Erasmus students are invited to contact the teacher at the beginning of the courses.
Learning assessment procedures
For attendings students (optional):
1) evaluation of the activities carried out during the classes (see Moodle page);
2) presentation to be held in workshops OR essay
3) oral examination.
For non-attending students:
1) essay
2) oral examination.
Students are required to prepare an in-depth analysis on a topic relevant to the programme. This analysis will be in the form of either a presentation of about 15 minutes to be delivered during the course, OR an essay of 2,000-4,000 words.
Evaluation criteria
The aims of the exam are to verify:
- The knowledge of texts and critical approaches presented and discussed during the course;
- The mastery of appropriate terminology, presentation skills, and the tools to conduct a critical analysis of texts;
- The ability to evaluate independently the analysis form the various texts, with reference to the approaches studied in the course.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
EVALUATION
The final mark (XX/30) is the sum of the marks received in the abovementioned sections.
