Learning objectives

The training objective is to provide the elements on the current regulations on medical devices (DM); the functioning principles and rationale for use; the basic skills for use for different indications; the competence and criteria for choosing between substance-based and drug-based or diagnostic DMs to evaluate common clinical conditions, including devices for:
• blood pressure measurement;
• lung capacity measurement by self-spirometry;
• non-invasive measurement of percentual oxygen saturation;
• electrocardiograms with remote cardiology mode
