Type D and Type F activities
Le attività formative di tipologia D sono a scelta dello studente, quelle di tipologia F sono ulteriori conoscenze utili all’inserimento nel mondo del lavoro (tirocini, competenze trasversali, project works, ecc.). In base al regolamento didattico del corso, alcune attività possono essere scelte e inserite autonomamente a libretto, altre devono essere approvate da apposita commissione per verificarne la coerenza con il piano di studio.
Per eventuali limitazioni si rimanda agli articoli relativi alle ATTIVITÀ A SCELTA e ATTIVITÀ FORMATIVE TRASVERSALI (F), STAGE, TIROCINI, ALTRO e del regolamento didattico del cds.
I crediti D / F possono essere acquisiti principalmente con attività didattiche nelle seguenti 4 tipologie:
1. Attività specifiche per il corso di laurea automaticamente inseribili a libretto (vedi in fondo alla pagina).
2. Lingue – incluso l’italiano per stranieri.
I cfu per lingue saranno riconosciuti, fino ad un massimo di 3 cfu complessivi, di tipologia D. Solo nel caso in cui la data di acquisizione della certificazione sia precedente al 27/10/2023 (data della delibera del Collegio didattico di Ingegneria dell'Informazione) potranno essere riconosciuti un massimo di 6 CFU, come precedentemente previsto. Ulteriori crediti a scelta per conoscenze linguistiche potranno essere riconosciuti solo se coerenti con il progetto formativo dello studente e se adeguatamente motivati.
Per gli iscritti a partire dall'anno regole 2025/2026 i crediti potranno essere calcolati nel computo dei cfu validi per la taf D.

Learning objectives
The course is aimed at providing the student with basic physical knowledge.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Basic mathematics.
Program
Physical quantities and their measurement: length, area, volume, mass, time, force, density, specific weight. Vectors, forces, dynamics, and kinematics: Characteristics of vectors and operations with vectors, balance of forces. Uniform motion, velocity, acceleration, and time laws. Newton's laws. Mass and weight. Gravitational acceleration. Falling bodies and uniformly accelerated motion. Kinetic energy, work, and power. Conservation of energy. Potential energy. Simple harmonic motion. Fluids: Density, pressure. Laws of fluid statics. Hydrostatic pressure. Pascal's and Archimedes' laws. Waves: Amplitude, frequency, wavelength, propagation velocity; reflection and refraction; attenuation of intensity with distance. Thermodynamics: Heat, heat conduction, expansion and thermal equilibrium, temperature, heat capacity. Ideal gas laws. Changes of state. Electromagnetism: Current intensity, electric charge. Coulomb's law and the electric field. Conductors and electrostatic induction. Electrostatic potential, equipotential surfaces, potential difference. Field and potential for a conductor in electrostatic equilibrium. Electric current, Ohm's law, electrical resistance, equivalent resistance for resistors in series and parallel. Magnetic field generated by a magnet and a straight wire carrying a current.
