Internship and traineeship

This information is intended exclusively for future freshmen who will enroll for the 2025/2026 academic year.
If you are already enrolled in this course of study, consult the information available on the course page:

Master's degree in Artificial intelligence - Enrollment until 2024/2025

The internship allows students to experience on the job the knowledge acquired during their university studies, to obtain the credits required for the award of their degree, to become familiar with the professional roles sought in different working contexts, and to acquire specific professional skills, thereby enhancing their opportunities for entering the labour market.

For companies, internships are a valuable tool for getting to know new, motivated resources who are eager to learn and who bring enthusiasm and innovative ideas. The investment in training made during the internship enables companies to assess and train future talent, also with a view to possible future recruitment.

All information about internships for prospective students is available on the Internships and Traineeships page.
All information about internships for enrolled students is published in MyUnivr – How to – Internships and Traineeships.
All information about internships for companies is available on the Internships and Traineeships for Companies page.

Internship/Traineeship period

In addition to the ECTS credits provided for in the study plan — please carefully check the provisions set out in the Teaching Regulations — information on how to activate an internship is available here.

Please check the Regulations to verify which activities may fall under type D and which under type F.

Please also note that, for traineeships activated from 1 October 2024 onwards, it will be possible to recognise any additional hours as type D credits, limited exclusively to traineeship experiences carried out at host organisations external to the University.
