Curriculum Strategic Event Management and Tourism:
Al termine del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di dimostrare di sapere:
analizzare dal punto di vista linguistico diverse forme di espressione scritta, orale e di conversazione specialistica;
applicare le proprie conoscenze teoriche a casi di studio di ambito professionale;
presentare la storia, lo statuto giuridico e la situazione sociale dei territori di lingua tedesca nell’Italia settentrionale (le cosiddette “isole linguistiche”, fra cui il cimbro del veronese);
riconoscere in dati linguistici aspetti strutturali delle lingue di minoranze di questi territori, in parte riconducibili al contatto linguistico;
proporre strategie di valorizzazione turistica dei territori e delle loro comunità.
È inoltre prevista l’acquisizione di una competenza linguistica in tedesco corrispondente al livello C2 del QCER.

Curriculum Global Markets and Trade:
Al completamento del corso gli studenti saranno in grado di dimostrare di: - sapere analizzare dal punto di vista linguistico diverse forme di espressione scritta, orale e di conversazione specialistica (ad esempio reclami); - poter applicare le proprie conoscenze teoriche per esprimersi in maniera efficace sia in forma scritta che orale in ambito professionale (ad esempio messaggi pubblicitari, presentazioni aziendali, denominazione di prodotto); - potere applicare le proprie competenze linguistiche di mediazione in ambito specialistico (ad esempio traduzioni e trasposizioni di contenuti) - possedere una buona padronanza di strumenti informatici impiegabili in contesti professionali; - possedere una competenza linguistica di livello C2.

Prerequisites and basic notions

- Knowledge and skills related to German linguistics acquired in previous years of university education and German language skills on C1 level.
- Erasmus students may ask their questions at any time directly to the professors.

Classes with theoretical content and practical exercises.

Learning assessment procedures

Term paper and oral examination during an examination session (for both attending and non-attending students). In the term paper, students will develop aspects of tourism promotion by drawing on the specific cultural and linguistic characteristics of the selected minority community. The project will then be presented and discussed during the oral examination. The oral examination will also assess:
- knowledge of the linguistic categories and methods used throughout the course;
- the ability to use information systems on linguistic minorities (e.g. https://alpilink.it for historical background and linguistic features; https://www.languagemap.eu for legal status; https://www.isolelinguistiche.it for the self-representation of the historical German-speaking minorities).

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Extent of the demonstrated skills; clarity and (terminological) accuracy of the answers.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The final grade of the exam will be the average of the grade of the written exam and the grade obtained in the CLA C2 test (or of another recognized C2 language certificate).
