Achieve adequate understanding and knowledge of the topics covered during the lessons in order to integrate scientific knowledge with that of the degree course

Program
The teaching program includes the presentation and discussion of the following topics: General aspects of Forensic Medicine (introduction, classification of crimes, elements of criminal and civil law) Crime, crimes against life and crimes against individual safety. Information activity of health interest. Crime Report and Report. Criminal liability, legal capacity and capacity to act. Elements of thanatology. Medical-legal traumatology, blunt force injuries. Bladed weapon injuries; gunshot injuries. Personal injury: legal and medico-legal aspects. Private accident insurance: general scheme and insurance contract. The responsibility of the healthcare professional: criminal aspects The responsibility of the healthcare professional: civil aspects Judicial inspection: technical findings and technical assessment. Individual identification through forensic genetic investigation: verification of parental relationships - Law 219/2012 - Reform of filiation; criminal investigations on biological traces - defensive investigations. Protection of privacy and processing of personal data. Informed consent, advance treatment instructions, shared care planning. Professional Secrecy and Office Secrecy. Laboratory exercises.
