Learning objectives
The course aims at providing students with notions and institutes that are required to understand the legal framework that governs public companies and public services. The course will offer to students the necessary critical and argumentative tools to analyse and deal with complex operative issues in this area. The course's goal is also to enable students to make systematic connections between the various fundamental legal categories of administrative law in order to critically assess the evolutive trend of this particular field of law.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Knowledge of the administrative law institutions covered in the Administrative Law 1 and 2 courses.
Program
The course addresses the issue of public service activities carried out by public administrations, as an activity distinct from the traditional authoritative one. The course will focus on all the methods and tools, of administrative law and civil and corporate law, through which public administrations organize and manage public services in our country. Since the protagonists of the management of public services today are public companies, the course will also focus on this specific figure, who is constantly at the center of doctrinal and jurisprudential evolution.
