Learning outcomes
The course deals with two important issues of the general part and with specific sectors of the special part, with the objective to update and to improve the knowledge of criminal law not only through an hermeneutical analysis of specific criminal offences, which involve operational applications, but also through a critical reflection on some general categories, which are important into the present legal system, whose usefulness and importance is also apparent in the resolution of problems and concrete cases.
Therefore the first subjects of the program will be the relationship between domestic/national criminal law and European law that has greatly especially in recent years and that will undergo radical changes in the perspective of the approval of the EU reform treaty; furthermore the new system of the criminal corporate liability, introduced by Dlgs n. 231/2001, that is becoming increasingly important, as it includes a large number of criminal offences.
About the special part of the criminal code, the program provides the study of 3 traditional groups of offences, particularly significant in the practice for their importance in the relationships both in the public (crimes against Public Administration) and private sphere (crimes against the person and crimes against property).
Examination Methods
L’esame si svolge in forma orale.
