Laurea in Lettere - Enrollment from 2025/2026
ATTENZIONE! Per essere ammessi a sostenere una qualsiasi attività didattica, incluse le attività a scelta libera, è necessario essere iscritti all'anno accademico in cui viene offerta (l’iscrizione e attivazione dell’anno accademico avviene con il pagamento delle rate universitarie).
PER I LAUREANDI: Si raccomanda ai laureandi delle sessioni di novembre e marzo/aprile di NON svolgere attività extracurriculari (ambito D/F) del nuovo anno accademico, essendo tali sessioni di laurea riferite all'anno accademico precedente. Le attività formative svolte in un anno accademico nel quale non si è iscritti, non danno luogo a riconoscimento di CFU.
Esempi:
  1. un laureando della sessione di novembre 2025 (riferita all’anno accademico 2024/2025) non potrà sostenere attività in ambito D/F erogate nell’anno accademico 2025/2026.  
  2. un laureando della sessione straordinaria di marzo aprile 2026 (ultima sessione dell’anno accademico 2024/2025) non potrà sostenere attività in ambito D/F erogate nell’anno accademico 2025/2026.

Learning outcomes

This class try to offer to the students a general picture of Italian and European political and cultural history from 1848 to 1914.
Principal aim is to present political characteristics of this phase of European history and to present in a comparative perspective the process of state building in different national countries.

Program

Building the nation: Italy and "long" nineteenth century

The Italian building state phase is connected with the big transformations provocated by liberal revolutions developed in Europe during the second part of nineteenth century. During this phase were created principal idioms whose characterized European political system, such as liberty, democracy, individual rights.

Written tests
