Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide the students with the principal features of Latin literature, both with reference to its historical development, literary genres and rules, and by the knowledge of some selected works.

Examination Methods
L’esame, che verterà sull’intero primo libro dell’opera storica liviana, avrà modalità orale; si richiederà lettura e traduzione, con inquadramento storico-letterario e analisi linguistica e stilistica, di uno o più brani tratti dall’opera in programma; si accerterà inoltre il possesso dei prerequisiti, ovvero la conoscenza della fonetica, morfologia e sintassi della lingua latina, al fine di accertare i risultati di apprendimento attesi, soprattutto la capacità autonoma di approccio ai testi letterari latini e la capacità di inquadrare l’opera all’interno del genere letterario di riferimento.
Verrà attribuita una valutazione unica, in trentesimi, al termine della prova.
Le modalità d’esame non prevedono una differenziazione tra frequentanti e non frequentanti.
