Learning objectives
The course aims to provide practical information on the writing of the thesis, from finding bibliographic sources to perfecting the paper in its final version. At the end of the course the student will be able to: - identify bibliographic sources consistent with the thesis topic, also through the use of opacs; - plan a paper consistent with the topic of the thesis and cohesive in relation to the individual parts (index, division into chapters, bibliography and sitography); - know the main systems of citation of sources; - insert notes, appendices, apparatus in relation to the hierarchy of contents present in the text.

Bibliography
Didactic methods
Frontal lesson in the presence, with exercises. Students in isolation for Covid-19 are invited to agree with the teacher how to recover the lessons in which they were temporarily unable to attend.
Learning assessment procedures
The exam will be a written test (with open-ended questions) intended to ascertain the acquisition of the skills provided during the course. During the last lesson an end-of-course test will be held.
Evaluation criteria
The exam does not include an evaluation out of thirty. A score will be assigned to each test and exercise and will contribute to the final evaluation ('approved' - 'not approved'): the sufficiency is achieved at 3/5 of the overall score.
