Learning objectives

Provide basic knowledge of physical geography and human geography to understand human-environment interaction, the effects produced on the landscape and the effects on cultural heritage. Educating the student in the complexity of the relationship between man and environment.

Learning assessment procedures

Written exam with open questions, exam duration 120 minutes. Possibility of taking the exam orally. The verification of learning is aimed at ascertaining the knowledge of the topics in the program and the skills relating to the methods of analysis and the scientific language of geography and cartography. The assessment of the preparation will take place through a written exam, aimed above all at verifying the direct knowledge and the ability to analyze the situations presented in class. The student will be required to have knowledge of the main lines of geographical and cartographic science.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The exam aims to ascertain the degree of autonomous ability to: -read, understand and translate the geographical and cartographic problems presented in class and which are part of the exam programme; -orient yourself in the contextualization of a territory; -explain geography and cartography themes and topics with clarity and propriety; -discuss the contents of the planned documents clearly and properly.
