Provide basic knowledge of physical geography and human geography to understand human-environment interaction, the effects produced on the landscape and the effects on cultural heritage. Educating the student in the complexity of the relationship between man and environment.

Learning assessment procedures
Written exam with open questions, test duration 60 minutes. Attending students The learning assessment is aimed at ascertaining knowledge of the topics in the program and skills relating to the methods of analysis and the scientific language of geography and cartography. Preparation will be assessed through a written exam, aimed above all at verifying direct knowledge and the ability to analyze the situations presented in class. The student will be required to have knowledge of the main lines of geographical and cartographic science. NOT ATTENDING Study of the books indicated in the bibliography indicated especially for them. Written test lasting 60 minutes.
Evaluation criteria
ATTENDING PARTIES The exam aims to ascertain the degree of autonomous ability to: -read, understand and translate the geographical and cartographic issues presented in class and which are part of the exam programme; -orient yourself in the contextualization of a territory; -explain geography and cartography themes and topics with clarity and propriety; -discuss the contents of the planned documents clearly and properly. Attending students must NOT study the book Itineraries of Veronese Odysseys. NOT ATTENDING Knowledge and study of the materials indicated in the bibliography. Students NOT attending MUST STUDY the text Itineraries of Veronese odysseys, the text From the topography map to the landscape (also the introductory theoretical part).
