Laurea in Scienze delle attività motorie e sportive - Enrollment from 2025/2026I Regolamenti dei corsi di laurea e di laurea magistrale di scienze motorie prevedono che gli studenti possano completare il proprio piano didattico, frequentando oltre agli insegnamenti obbligatori anche delle attività formative a scelta, per approfondire alcuni aspetti tematici o settori di interesse, in coerenza con il proprio percorso formativo.
Le attività formative a scelta di ambito D sono indicate all’interno del piano didattico del corso di studio prescelto, mentre le attività formative di ambito F sono individuate da una apposita commissione di docenti. Queste ultime attività possono essere conferenze, seminari, webinar, altro e vengono acquisite con una valutazione e non con un voto in trentesimi.

Learning objectives
At the end of the course the student: 1) knows the main issues of pedagogical reflection and some of the most significant theories; 2) is able to reflect critically on educational problems and experiences, using appropriately the pedagogical language and its fundamental concepts; 3) is able to interpret the educational dimensions of sport; 4) is able to recognize and valorize the essential characteristics of the sports educator.

No particular prerequisite is required.
Program
The course is divided into two parts.
[A] In the first part, introductory to the study of Pedagogy as a critical reflection on Education, the central concepts of the discipline, its epistemological foundations and the main reference theories will be examined.
[Contents A]
A1. Centrality of Pedagogy and Education in contemporary society:
- distinction between Educability, Education and Pedagogy;
- basic concepts of pedagogical discourse and interdisciplinary nature of Pedagogy;
- formal elements: purpose, method, means, contents, educator-learner relationship, the environment;
- theoretical and methodological elements indispensable in the construction of educational projects;
- implementation of educational projects taking into account the diversity of individual educational situations that characterize each specific context of intervention.

- origin of Pedagogy and the path through which it has become scientifically established;
- political, labor and cultural changes and crises;
- collocation of Pedagogy among the Educational Sciences;
- development of the various pedagogical currents and the role of Pedagogy in the face of complexity;
- various sectors of pedagogical intervention.

Bibliography
Didactic methods
The lectures in the classroom will be supplemented by materials, exercises, tests, etc. on the Moodle e-learning platform dedicated to the course.
Regular attendance is highly recommended. Recovery Methods: Those who could not physically attend classroom lessons can enjoy streaming. The video footage of the lessons will also be available on the Moodle e-learning platform of the course.
Learning assessment procedures
The exam consists of an interview on the topics addressed in the course. Intermediate tests on single parts of the program may be envisaged.
Evaluation criteria
The assessment will take into consideration the level of knowledge achieved and the personal elaboration of the themes and issues addressed in class.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final grade (out of thirty) will take into consideration the preparation demonstrated on each single part of the course.
