Laurea in Scienze delle attività motorie e sportive - Enrollment from 2025/2026

I Regolamenti dei corsi di laurea e di laurea magistrale di scienze motorie prevedono che gli studenti possano completare il proprio piano didattico, frequentando oltre agli insegnamenti obbligatori anche delle attività formative a scelta, per approfondire alcuni aspetti tematici o settori di interesse, in coerenza con il proprio percorso formativo.

Le attività formative a scelta di ambito D sono indicate all’interno del piano didattico del corso di studio prescelto, mentre le attività formative di ambito F sono individuate da una apposita commissione di docenti. Queste ultime attività possono essere conferenze, seminari, webinar, altro e vengono acquisite con una valutazione e non con un voto in trentesimi.

Learning objectives

Health promotion: the role played by motor activity. Infectious diseases (related to sport activities) and chronic degenerative diseases with a specific focus on the skills of a degree in Exercise Science from the perspective of prevention Organizational model of the National Health Service

Prerequisites and basic notions

Essential preparatory knowledge:
Biology notions specifically referred to the morphological and functional differences between viruses, bacteria and eukaryotes, including protists

Program

1. Introduction to Hygiene: Definitions and tools of public health.
2. Definition and introduction to public health tools: Protection, promotion, prevention, also in light of Goal 3 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development "Ensure health and well-being for everyone at all ages."
3. Definition of health determinant and social determinants of health with a particular focus on health inequalities, also in light of Goal 10 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development ("Reduce inequality within and among nations.")
4. Prevention of infectious risks: Epidemiological aspects.
5. Prevention of infectious risks: Prevention methodologies and vaccinations.
6. Sports hygiene and sports facilities.
7. Multifactorial concept of risk. In-depth analysis of the role of physical activities in the prevention of chronic-degenerative diseases.
8. Cardiovascular and cancer prevention.
9. Organization of the National Health Service.

Didactic methods

Frontal lessons.

Learning assessment procedures

The assessment of learning outcomes involves a written test with multiple-choice questions (4 answer options, of which only one is correct). Generally, there are 20 questions, each worth 1.5 points, and an additional bonus question worth one point. No points are deducted for incorrect answers.
The examination procedure is the same for both attending and non-attending students.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The aim of the test is to verify the knowledge of all the topics included in the program.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The final evaluation is expressed in 30/30 with honors.
