Learning objectives
MM -Knowledge of the main cardiac diseases and the cardiovascular effects of physical activity on both physiological and pathological context. MM- To teach students the basics of pharmacology important for the understanding of the risks and benefits associated with the use of drugs and substances. The course examines the mechanisms of action, effects, pharmacokinetics and adverse reactions of drugs with particular reference to some of the most commonly used classes in motor and sport disciplines. Thus, the student will acquire the capacity of critical appraisal about substance use issues in order to become an educational and cultural reference person.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Prior to register to the exam, students should have passed the following preparatory exams:
Biology,
Human anatomy,
Physiology.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The acquired knowledge about the topics taught over the course will be assessed by 45 multiple choice questions, 30 plus 15 questions related to pharmacology and cardiology module, respectively.
In order to pass the exam, the candidate must score at least 17 in the pharmacology module and 9 in the cardiology one.
The candidate is supposed to finalize the assessment within 45 minutes
