Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

MM: ECONOMIA APPLICATA ALLE SCIENZE MOTORIE

The course aims to provide the students with basic legal and economic notions applied to motor sciences. As far as the juridical module is concerned, the Course has the objective to give the essential knowledge of the Private and the Pubblic Law, which is preparatory for a later study of some topics more strictly related to the sport sphere, such as, in particular, the participants of the sport system, the main contracts relevant to the sport activity and the liability rules in the sport field. Simultaneously, the Course will give the main notions to manage a business activity in an organized structure, in order to understand its peculiar features, and paying particular attention to the indicators of economic and financial nature whose calculation it is not only request by the legislator, but it is also necessary in order to perform a cost benefit analysis of the sport activity. During the Course we will give also practical information about the various ways to set a sport business activity up, without omitting the related tax effects considering the facilitations granted, in different manners, to the sport world.

During the Course the following topics will be addressed: 1) The Pubblic and European Union Law 2) The private law in general, and the sport law; 3) The subjective juridical situations in general; 4) The subjects in general: natural person and legal entity; 5) The subjects in the sport field; 6) The obligation in general; 7) The contract in general; 8) The main special contracts relevant to the sport activity; 9) The civil liability in general; 10) The civil liability in the sport field; 11) The business activity and the main manners to set it up; 12) The firm: peculiar features and possible categories; 13) The “management” of a firm: distinction between the “economic” and “financial” effects of the business transactions; 14) The main ways to conduct a sport business activity: as a sole proprietorship; the amateur sport association, and the companies (profit and not- profit companies); 15) The reading and interpretation of the main economic and financial data in the management of a sport organized business activity: basic notions about the financial documents useful for these purposes and, in particular, the financial statements and other reports prepared by the amateur sport associations; 16) The main accounting and tax fulfilments of each category of sport business activity; 17) The facilitations granted to the sport world and the “fund raising”.

Written test, with multiple answer questions for both modules. However, as regards the economic module, an application will be aimed at ascertaining the student's ability to understand the composition and content of the budgetary schemes.

Recupero Obblighi Formativi - OFA
I corsi di supporto per il recupero degli Obblighi Formativi aggiuntivi - OFA di Chimica, Fisica, Matematica sono organizzati annualmente e sono segnalati direttamente nell'orario delle lezioni del 1° anno ► vedi pagina.
Al termine di ciascun corso frequentato gli studenti dovranno sostenere e superare una verifica scritta per colmare il debito, entro il 15 dicembre dell'anno successivo per potersi iscrivere al 2° anno.
Date e orari degli appelli sono indicati nel Calendario Didattico - Calendario Esami.
► In caso di mancato superamento degli obblighi formativi entro il 15/12, lo studente resterà iscritto al 1° anno anche per l'anno successivo, dovrà ripetere la verifica di recupero e NON non potrà sostenere gli esami del 2° anno.

Internships
Internships are aimed at enabling students to gain direct knowledge of the world of work and to acquire specific professional skills.
Internships are carried out under the responsibility of an individual lecturer, and can be carried out in professional firms, public administration bodies and companies recognised by the University of Verona.
Any CFU credits gained by doing internships will be recognised and recorded by the University in accordance with the relevant University regulations in force (Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari).
