The main element that will be analised during the course is that one related to the history of Sepharad; in order to do so, the literature regarding this main topic will be studied (i.e. the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492, diaspora literature, narratives of exile, historic novel, etc.); the learning of some basic tools of literary critical analysis will enable an adequate development of the analytical skills; furthermore, the historical and sociological content will ensure the right approach to some issues related to cultural commerce and tourism.
