Learning outcomes
The main aim of this course, which is part of the Bachelor's degree in Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Commerce, is to provide the acquisition by students of an appropriate knowledge of Spanish Culture, with particular attention to the historical, geographic and anthropological fields. At the end of the course students will be expected to acquire:
- knowledge and comprehension skills: in-depth knowledge of the Spanish Culture of the period planned, as well as its historical, geographic and anthropological fields.
- “Applied” knowledge and comprehension skills: students will acquire the necessary methodologies to understand complex and quite long texts, as well as implied meanings.

- CONTEMPORARY SPAIN: political and cultural reality
- LITERATURE AS A MIRROR OF THE REALITY: study of the principal literary and artistic movements of the XX and XXI centuries (texts will be uploaded in the e-learning platform)

Examination Methods
Attending students: an (optional) written test or an oral examination on the program of the module.
Non-attending students and attending students who don't take the written test: an oral examination on the program of the module.
Examination is intended to verify the level of knowledge, understanding and analysis. It will be in Italian or Spanish, by student's choice.
