Learning outcomes

The course aims to convey the basic knowledge of contemporary Italian language in relation to its uses, with particular attention to written production. Analysis and production of written texts (summaries, professional letters, brochures) to improve the student's writing skills.

Program

1. Elements of Italian grammar: use of the verbs (moods and tenses), connectives, rhetorical figures, punctuation.
2. Writing in Italian: textual typologies; language and registers; the writing process ("scaletta", drawing up, review)
3. Analysis and production exercises: argumentative text, synthesis, examples of professional writing (letter, brochure, report ...).
