Learning outcomes
The course will use slides with relevant images and translated and discussed texts to introduce the student to the most significant experiences of the literatures and other cultural expressions of the Spanish speaking countries of Latin America. The goal is to explore in depth the relationship between the literary language and other forms of expression; between the national literatures and the large and diverse landscape of cultural geographies.

Examination Methods
The oral examination will test a general vision of the precolombian cultures and literatures of the XXth century and the ability to produce an analysis of the texts covered during the lessons. It will test the ability to read and comment a latinamerican novel.
