Learning outcomes
Aim of the course is transmitting fundamental knowledge on Italian language and its variability, with particular regard to abilities at writing texts. Textual competence and abilities on writing (as well professional writings pertinent to university course) will be improved by practice of analysis and production.
Program
1. Elements of Italian grammar: verbal moods and tenses, connectives, figures of speech, punctuation.
2. Writing: text types; language and registers; the writing process (list of items, draft, review)
3. Text analysis and exercises: summary, professional writing (letter, dépliant, report...)
On e-learning dashboard will be posted slides, exercisez, bibliographical supplements.

Examination Methods
Written examination. Production of short texts concerning the different text types analyzed: summary, letter, dépliant. Aim of examination is verifying knowledges, competences and abilities about written language.
Examination will be equal for attending and no-attending students.
