Expected Spanish proficiency level is C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language.
Prerequisites and basic notions
To take the exam, a C1 level of language proficiency or higher is required, which corresponds to 3 of the 9 credits for the course. Assessment of language proficiency is based on certifications issued by the CLA (University Language Center) or the Instituto Cervantes (subject to prior CLA equivalence, as listed in the appropriate lists) and is a prerequisite for the exam with the Spanish Language 3 teacher. As indicated in the "Regulatory Guide for Students of the Foreign Languages and Literatures Area," the C1 language certification is valid for five years from the date of achievement. Students must have passed and registered the preparatory exams required by the "Regulatory Guide for Students of the Foreign Languages and Literatures Area," namely, Spanish Language and Spanish Literature from the second year. IMPORTANT: Erasmus students MUST contact the teacher before the start of lessons for clarifications and for the possible integration of 3 CFU.

Didactic methods
Classes will be face-to-face and interactive, supported by PowerPoint presentations and audiovisual materials. Practical activities based on the analysis of commercial and tourism texts and corpora will also be offered. A separate program is available for attending students (minimum attendance 75%) and for non-attending students. Teaching support: Supplementary teaching materials will be uploaded to the course's Moodle platform. The instructor is also available during office hours, which can also be arranged via ZOOM if necessary. Finally, potential students are advised that specific support and tutoring for inclusion and accessibility is available, particularly for the French, English, Russian, Spanish, and German Language and Literature courses. These activities will be advertised on the Department's website.
Learning assessment procedures
The 75-minute exam will be administered in Spanish, and students will be required to answer questions in that language. It will consist of multiple-choice, short-answer, and open-ended questions. Some questions will require metalinguistic reflection and the ability to identify and provide examples of phenomena covered in the course. The test will be graded based on the chosen course (attending/non-attending). The use of dictionaries or electronic devices is not permitted during the exam.
Evaluation criteria
The exam, in the form of a written test, is designed to assess the breadth and depth of knowledge acquired on the topics covered in the syllabus, as well as the student's command of language, terminological precision, and ability to systematically connect the acquired knowledge.
