Academic calendar

The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes

The course is oriented to introduce students to the critical knowledge of:
1. the concept of culture and its components in a sociological perspective;
2. the characteristics of main cultural processes in act in contemporary western societies;
3. the role of books in contemporary cultural processes and in particular artistic communication.

Examination Methods

Di norma l'insegnamento prevede una prova di valutazione orale.
Tuttavia, al fine di agevolare gli studenti frequentanti è prevista una prova scritta, al termine del calendario delle lezioni, sui contenuti del primo e secondo volume del corso (lettere A e B) e dei relativi “lucidi”. La prova consta di 32 domande ad alternative di risposta standardizzate (tipo test).
La data indicativa per la prova scritta è il 10 maggio.
Possono partecipare alla prova scritta anche i non frequentanti.
Supera la prova scritta chi riporta una valutazione non inferiore a 18/30. Chi supera la prova scritta deve sostenere un'ulteriore prova orale sulla restante parte del programma .
La seconda prova si terrà negli appelli ordinari di giugno, luglio, settembre 2016 e nei mesi di gennaio e febbraio 2016.
Chi non completa l'esame sostenendo la seconda prova orale entro febbraio 2016 deve sostenere l'esame su tutto il programma in forma orale.
Chi non sostiene le prove d’esonero scritte deve sostenere tutto il programma all’orale.

Stage e tirocini

Nel piano didattico della laurea triennale in Lingue e culture per l’editoria (L11 ED) è previsto un tirocinio/stage obbligatorio (CFU 6).

Le attività di stage sono finalizzate a far acquisire allo studente una conoscenza diretta in settori di particolare interesse per l’inserimento nel mondo del lavoro e per l’acquisizione di abilità professionali specifiche.
Le attività di stage sono svolte sotto la diretta responsabilità di un singolo docente presso studi professionali, enti della pubblica amministrazione, aziende accreditate dall’Ateneo veronese.
I crediti maturati in seguito ad attività di stage saranno attribuiti secondo quanto disposto nel dettaglio dal “Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari” vigente.
