Learning outcomes

The course has in aim to offer a thorough knowledge of:
a) Textual criticism and 'critique génétique': this part will offer an overview on the main methods of editing a medieval text and an authographhh text.
b) Medieval French and Spanish texts; a selection of texts will be read, translated and commented during this part of the course.

Examination Methods

Final oral examination.
The oral examination aims at evaluating the student's knowledge, with special reference to the texts read during the lectures; general knowledge of the companions in use will be checked, as well. The final evaluation will be established considering student's knowledge, and his capacity to answer in a clear, appropriate and convincing way.

* Erasmus students will be informed during the lectures about the oral examination.
** Students will have the possibility to ask for a test 'in itinere'.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
