The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning outcomes
The course offers an introduction to the main historical, artistic and literary fea-tures of 20th century German literature, focusing on the works of the most repre-sentative authors of this period.
At the end students will have to show a deep knowledge of the topics dealt with during the course, regarding both the his-torical-literary period and the works. Fur-thermore they will have to be able to ana-lyse the texts and clearly show the abilities developed during the course through a suitable competence in German.

Examination Methods
The final exam will be oral and held in Italian. The exam will consist in a conversation aimed at testing:
- depth and wideness of the acquired knowledge
- the ability of critical reflection and analysis of the texts included in the programme
- the ability to contextualize texts from a historical and cultural point of view
The final mark will be in 30ths.
ERASMUS students are required to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course to agree upon the exam modality
