Learning outcomes

The aim of the course, in relation to the general aims of the Degree Course in Foreign Languages and Literatures, is to provide students with the essential skills to decode and contextualize the phenomena of the current global world, ie the basic knowledge of events and processes of transformation of political, social, eco-nomic and cultural structures from the beginning of the twentieth century to to-day.
At the end of the course students will de-velop the ability to critically analyze long-term socio-cultural changes and will be able to reason in a diachronic key, placing events in their different temporalities.

Requirements in advance: Good knowledge of Italian language (reading). Elementary knowledge of Early Modern European History

Course description:
The course deals with the period between the Great War and the present day and analyzes national and international processes of formation of the contemporary world
