Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Learning outcomes
The workshop is set up as a formative moment for young artists, students and amateurs who, with the assistance and guidance of experts, will individually create a table or a comic story inspired by a Dario Fo's artistic work chosen from those that specifically refer to integration.
Program
COMIC WORKSHOP DEDICATED TO DARIO FO'S WORK
30th April - 6th June 2019
The whole activity intends to promote the knowledge, conservation, enhancement and dissemination of cultural heritage by means of some introductory lessons on comics and on Dario Fo's artistic work with the help of archival materials kept at MusALab.
The 36 hours workshop will be held at the Scuola del Fumetto and will be distributed in 3-hour meetings
on Tuesday and Thursday from 2.30pm to 5.30pm from 30th April to 6th June 2019.
The practical work will be introduced by two theoretical lessons conducted by Maria Teresa Pizza (Director of the Fo-Rame Archive) and Simona Brunetti (professor of Performing Arts at the University of Verona), lessons which will be held at the MusALab and will be dedicated to Dario Fo and Franca Rame, to their theatre and to the piece of art chosen as a reference for the workshop.
The workshop, directed by Alberto Corradi, author of comics and teacher at the Scuola del Fumetto in Verona, will be dedicated to the design and realization of comic drawings inspired by the Dario Fo's artistic work.
The drawnings produced by the participants will be part of an exhibition held at the libraries Civica and Frinzi, in Verona - set up by the students of the Verona Academy of Fine Arts - open to the public from 4 to 30 November 2019.
Application are open to high school students, to University and Academy of Verona students, to the Scuola del Fumetto students and to anyone who is familiar with drawning (starting from 17 years of age).

The laboratory has a maximum of 30 participants: registration will be confirmed by 22 April 2019.
