Learning outcomes
The course aims at expanding the students' competence in English by developing oral and written comprehension. In particular, the course will deal with the complexities of contemporary English and with English of the Media.
Program
The first part will briefly cover the history of English and will strengthen the students' phonetic and morphological competence. The course will also introduce students to the specificities of English for the Media, with particular reference to the language of politics.
Students have to obtain the B2 certificate at CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo) before taking the final exam.
