Didactic methods
Lectures are dedicated to the teaching of the subject basic notions. Throughout all the academic year, individual appointments with the professor are also available. Time and place are indicated on his personal web page. There is no need to set a specific appointment.
Learning assessment procedures
The exam consists of 30 + 1 quiz with multiple choices, the last of which is evaluated only in case of all previous correct answers, for the purpose of awarding the laude. The grades are measured in thirtieths (0-30 scale). For each correct answer is assigned 1 point and for each incorrect or not given answer 0 points is assigned.
The written test can potentially cover all the topics included in the exam program.
The written test is corrected immediately after delivery. At that point, the student who passed the written test can decide whether to accept the grade, to refuse it or to ask for an integration with an oral exam. The oral exam potentially covers all the topics included in the program; during this exam, the confirmation of the written score or the passing of the exam are not guaranteed.
An additional exam may be required for students who have not attended the lessons established by the teaching regulations (in proportion to the number of hours missing).
