Learning objectives

Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the workshop, the students will:
1. Know the Early Childhood Education system, the main regulations and the functions of the educator in ECEC (Early Childhood Education and Care).
2. Understand the role and posture of the trainee towards educational staff, children and families.
3. Understand the essential ethical issues of educational work.
4. Know how to use the tools of observation, journal writing and case study as resources for learning in an internship situation.

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
At the end of the workshop, the students will:
1. Be able to analyze the functioning of the services in which the internship activity will take place in the field.
2. Develop awareness of personal motivation to work in a specific educational setting.

Program

•Saper apprendere dall’esperienza. Il tirocinio come ambiente di apprendimento basato sulla pratica:
-la centralità del soggetto che apprende
-l’esperienza riflessiva
-gli strumenti didattici: l’osservazione, le pratiche narrative, il confronto con la comunità dei pratici
-la valutazione ex ante, in itinere, ex post.
•Saper scegliere consapevolmente l’ente di tirocinio: il confronto con l’ufficio stage.
•Conoscere la legislazione dei servizi per l’infanzia:
-“Orientamenti nazionali per i servizi educativi per l’infanzia”
-“Linee pedagogiche per il sistema integrato zerosei”
-normativa in materia di sicurezza sul lavoro D.Lgs.81/2008.
•Conoscere e comprendere la postura dell’educatore e l’etica professionale.
•Gli strumenti operativi: quando, come e perché utilizzarli. L’osservazione partecipata, il diario di bordo, i questionari e le griglie.
•Il Servizio 0/3 come ambiente inclusivo in ottica bio-psico-sociale. Imparare ad analizzare i facilitatori e le barriere all’inclusione.
•Costruire e valorizzare legami di cura e partecipazione: l’alleanza educativa e la continuità educativa.
