Learning outcomes
The course focuses around ability on movie-text analysis, where the movie isn’t just the object of artistical processing but also a thinking-subject who generates concepts and ideas.
Program
Prerequisites: Have a good knowledge of cinema history and methodolgy of film-analysis.
Course content: Jean-Luc Godard between cinema and philosophy.
The course start with an introduction to the differents methods of interpretation of a film-text and progress with the analysis of theoretical script and movies of Jean-Luc Godard paying specific attention to the recently production of the director.
