Academic calendar

The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes

The probe of two Gnostic Texts from Ancient Near East does enable us to do a study in religious dualism, in its historico-cultural context and in critical survey come out of historiographic research.

Program

Prerequisites: N.B. Only those who have followed and completed the undergraduate course can apply to this course.

Course content: The Gnostic principle and its syndromes.
Reading of The Gospel according to Thomas and of the Chant of the Pearl.

Examination Methods

Oral test. The participation in the seminars of each individual student will also be taken into consideration.
N.B. Those who do not attend the course will have to provide the teacher with a written essay, referring to the course bibliography.
