Learning outcomes
the course aims at providing critical and methodological tools for investigating politically related issues within the frame of the conceptual history of ideas.
Program
Prerequisites: undergraduate level knowledge in history and philosophy.
Contents of course:
By thematizing the modern concept of ‘liberty’, the course follows Isaiah Berlin in investigating on its supposed ‘traitors’ and ponders on the connection between politics and violence.
